User Account System
The F.C.G.N. site has undergone some changes so please read this before proceeding. The old method for subscribing, unsubscribing, changing addresses, contacting us, etc. was not as secure as it could be and as a result we were receiving a great deal of spam. It was also possible for a person to request something on behalf of another without the other's permission. These and other issues prompted a complete overhaul of all our form based systems.
Subscriptions: Instead of the simple, unsecured forms we now have a complete user account system. You now have the ability to create an account with a private login and password wherein you can manage all of your personal information (address, email address, etc.) and your subscription method. This ensures that your subscription will continue uninterrupted unless you deem otherwise. Should you desire to cancel your subscription, that also has been made more straightforward.
New or Existing Subscriber: Whether you are new to the F.C.G.N. wishing to subscribe for the first time or are a current subscriber, you will need to create a user account. If you are a current subscriber then simply check the box labeled "Current Subscriber" and then check the methods by which you are subscribed during the sign up process. That will prevent a duplicate subscription. If you are new then leave the "Current Subscriber" check box empty. To begin creating your account click on the "Manage Subscription" button to your left.
Must I create an account in order to view articles on the site or download .pdf's? No. The site's resources are unrestricted as always. A user account is only useful to those who have already or wish to receive the Fulton County Gospel News at their home address or in their email inbox.
Will my current subscription be canceled if I do not create a user account? No. However, if you wish to modify your address, email address, or subscription method then you will need an account.
Why should I create an account? If you're not currently subscribed then creating an account is the way to subscribe. If you are already subscribed then creating a user account is the only way to update either your mailing or email address should you need the F.C.G.N. sent to a new address.
